OUR PURPOSE
At the School of Global Health at Meharry Medical College, our purpose is to advance the well-being of the global community by establishing ourselves as a distinguished School that educates and nurtures a diverse and inclusive cohort of passionate global health leaders who can navigate political systems and societal structures to positively impact the public's health.
We are dedicated to equipping our learners with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to take decisive action in addressing the world's most pressing and complex health challenges. By fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and social responsibility, we will empower our graduates to make a tangible and lasting impact on the health and well-being of communities worldwide.

Priorities are specific areas or issues we have identified as critical to achieving our mission and goals. These priorities focus on an area where the institute and future school can have the most significant impact on improving the health of populations and addressing public health challenges.
