Loyce Pace, MPH is a globally recognized champion for health equity and human rights, bringing over 25 years of experience in international health policy, advocacy, and diplomacy to her role at Meharry Medical College. She most recently served as Regional Director for the Americas at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and was formerly the Assistant Secretary for Global Affairs at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Throughout her career—including leadership roles at the Global Health Council, LIVESTRONG Foundation, American Cancer Society, and Catholic Relief Services—Ms. Pace has advanced critical global health priorities across five continents. At the School of Global Health, she contributes to teaching, mentorship, and policy innovation, furthering Meharry’s mission to cultivate visionary global health leaders. She holds an MPH in International Health and Human Rights from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University.
